I never thought I’d say this, but there are too many good K-Dramas airing right now! V and I have talked to some of you, and you’ve confirmed your watch lists are full too! So, if you had to choose, what’s the best drama airing right now? I know that’s like asking a parent which child they like the best, but look inside your hearts and choose. If a fellow drama-watcher was overwhelmed and asked you which drama they should watch, what would you tell them?
To keep things simple, I’ve excluded dramas that have finished airing, so you won’t see shows like Taxi Driver listed, even though it was amazing. I’ve also excluded dramas that only have one or two episodes out, like My Roommate Is A Gumiho, because there’s still a lot you don’t know about a drama after two episodes. (I made a special exception for Move To Heaven, because Netflix uploaded it all at once).
The poll will close on Friday, June 11th 11:59 PM (American Eastern Standard Time) and the results will be posted Monday, June 14th. (Please keep in mind that some of the dramas in the poll may have finished airing by then).
Happy voting! Go ahead and pick your favorite child, then tell us why. We can be guilty parents together.
Where’s my roommate is a gumiho!

Not sure if you got a chance to read the article, but I mentioned I wouldn’t be adding it since there are only two or three episodes out and it’s hard to judge a drama at that point since it hasn’t fully delved into the plot yet.
But don’t worry, it’ll be mentioned in our other polls! 🙂
May has been a super busy month for kdrama fans and looks like June won’t be any better. Maybe those days when I had to search for older dramas on Netflix and Viki are over? I didn’t think the term “kdrama fatigue” were true but I found I have to make sure 1) watching kdrama not affecting other parts of my routines and 2) not watching TOO many kdrama and causing kdrama fatigues. LOL
V, you know it’s brutal to only let us pick one. I don’t think any of us are watching just one kdrama at this time. I am not. However, I am picking Bossam as its’ my favorite for variety of reasons. I think many would have hard time pick between DAYS (Doom at Your Service) and Anti-fan but between the two, Doom has an edge from the writing and concept stand point.
Can’t wait to see what others think.

V is kind, I’m the meanie that’s making you guys choose *insert evil laugh* >:-D
On a serious note, it sounds like I really have to check out Bossam. Everyone is RAVING about it, so I can’t miss out. The few romances that have been released this year are kind of disappointing. Would you say Anti-fan is actually good, and puts a unique spin on the genre? If so, then I’m going to check it out as well.
Bossam: Steal the Fate has become my number one Kdrama show of the year. After we fans clogged up the Dramabeans hangout with >500 comments we have been awarded a hangout part 2. Yuri is absolutely killing as the FL and Jung Il Woo is no slouch either. Sageuks are hit or miss for me but this one is a finely balanced story of friendship, romance, found family and just enough politics to keep the plot spicy. I even re-watch the political scenes while waiting for the subs (it’s that good). Episode 10 of 20 just aired so there’s plenty of time to hop onboard! Oh and the young actor who plays the son is very talented and way cute.

You’re the millionth person I’ve heard rave about Bossam. I HAVE to watch it! I’m hearing great things about Yuri’s performance too. Sooyoung was pretty good in Run On, and is apparently doing well with So I Married An Anti-fan, so it looks like the SNSD girls are having a great year (or two) when it comes to acting.
There’s a reason for that, or maybe a million? Come on in – the water is fine :)!]
