We had to give this next subject its own category. That’s right, kissing! We can’t have a Best Couple category in the Milkies without talking about Best Kiss. I know it probably seems redundant, but it’s not, because you can vote for a totally different couple.
For example, my pick for Best Couple is Ri Jung-hyuk and Yoon Se-ri from Crash Landing On You. And while I enjoyed their soft, romantic kisses, no one beats Moon Gang-tae and Go Moon-young’s second kiss in It’s Okay To Not Be Okay. Phew! The chemistry jumped out, and I swear my glasses fogged up. The kiss is intense; almost desperate and the intimate way in which it’s filmed just lends to the scene. But I think the best part is how Gang-tae tells Moon-young to count to three to calm down, and ends up joining her, because he can’t calm down.
Take a look for yourself. You’re welcome 😉
Their third kiss is just as good. Actually, some would argue it’s even better. But this one is my personal fave. What about you guys? (V – What about us you ask? Weeeeeeell….the kiss that stands out to me has to be Mok Hae-won and Im Eun-seob in When the Weather is Fine! A mountain kiss, ahh…and then the awkward kiss in the bedroom! So good!)
You can vote for the most spine-tingling, goosebump inducing kiss below. Remember you have until midnight on January 5th (American Eastern Standard Time) to vote. Make sure to also vote for the Best K-drama Villain and Best Couple if you haven’t already. The dramas that win the Golden Milk Carton will be announced on January 7th.

I voted for Eun-seob’s adorable kiss to Hae-won in When the Weather is Fine! That might have been his first kiss ever and I loved it so much.

You’re making me want to look up a clip.
Now that we’ve put it out there into the universe, watch Leo D learn Korean, and start popping up in dramas hahaha.
😂🤣
a no brainer, it’s okay to not be okay. thank you syj and ksh for giving us non-kdrama kiss but the real one. ngl it was so so hot. keep up with the good work 😂
2nd fave is, or better say are because all of their kisses were a+, when the weather is nice. kudos to them too.
i love that we finally moved on from dead fish kisses and we’re getting the real ones. i’m aware that actors must feel really awkward kissing like that in front of the crew and on a cue but it makes the story and characters genuine, like they are real people and not characters portrayed by actors.
sorry, this was long 😀

Yes! I think the drama-watching community in general is sick of the dead fish kisses, so I’m glad more dramas are striving for kisses that look realistic. A lot of dramas are doing better with kisses, but the kisses in IOTBO will reign supreme in my mind for a long time.
Don’t apologize for your comment. I have so much fun reading long comments! 🙂
