What Is Your Favorite Suzy and Nam Joo-hyuk Drama? (Take our first poll!)

When it comes to Korean entertainment, Suzy is like milk, bread, and eggs. She’s a staple. Suzy started her career in the girl group Miss A, and rose to fame in dramas like Dream High and Big. However, it was 2012’s Architecture 101 that gave her “Household Name” status. The nostalgic film about first love and heartbreak made her Korea’s girl next door; the nation’s first love.

Since then, she’s remained an A-lister, and her current drama Start-Up is enjoying a ratings boost and favorable reviews.

The romantic coming-of-age tale about a young entrepreneur named Seo Dal-mi (Suzy) also stars Nam Joo-hyuk. He plays Nam Do-san, a math prodigy who’s having trouble getting his start-up off the ground.

Nam Joo-hyuk hasn’t achieved “Household Name” status yet, but at the rate his career’s progressing, he’ll end up there soon.

He first gained recognition in a drama called Who Are You: School 2015 before solidifying his heartthrob reputation with Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo.

Both Suzy and Nam Joo-hyuk have been in a variety of dramas over the years. They’ve covered everything from romance to saeguk to fantasy. Which one of their dramas has been your favorite? Cast your vote below!

My favorite Suzy drama is While You Were Sleeping. It had a unique plot and I liked Suzy’s quirky, brave character. Her chemistry with Lee Jong-suk was pretty good too.

I think a lot of people are gonna go with Weightlifting Fairy just like me. (V – I don’t know Moon Lovers has a rabid fan base! But I vote for Weightlifting Fairy ☺️). Nam Joo-hyuk played the perfect boyfriend, and the drama had some great life lessons.

No matter what you went with, I think it’s safe to say both actors are talented in their own right. Start-Up is proving to be another moving drama, so by the time it’s over, who knows? It might be my new favorite.
