Our Upcoming March Recap Lineup!

Live Korean Drama Recap Schedule for February and March of 2017
tvN
Y’all, we looked up and all of a sudden we have 6 shows that we are recapping. Our New Years goal was to do 4 live recaps for the entire year (one per season) so, yeah, we have blown that out of the water.

You can find all the shows we are recapping in our sidebar on the right. But I’ll list them here just in case you are reading on a phone. I like to keep that sidebar up to date, so if you are guessing what shows we are doing, just refer to that. The shows in italics are the ones that are about to air next week.

MONDAY + TUESDAY
Radio Romance | KBS2 | 22:00 (live)
Waikiki | jtbc | 23:00 (live)
Should We Kiss First?| SBS | 22:00 (After Waikiki)

WEDNESDAY + THURSDAY
Queen of Mysteries 2 | KBS2 | 22:00 (live)

FRIDAY + SATURDAY
Misty | jtbc | 23:00 (live)

SATURDAY + SUNDAY
Hwayugi | tvN | 21:00 (live)
Children of a Lesser God | OCN | 22:20 (live)
Hyori’s Bed & Breakfast | jtbc | 21:00 (After Children of a Lesser God)

I am super excited about Queen of Mystery 2 and my boo is really intrigued by Children of a Lesser God. Children of a Lesser God looks so scary to me, but it also looks like Queen of Mystery with horror so I kind of want to watch it. I am a huge wuss when it comes to horror though, so I know I will be recapping with my head buried in the keyboard for most of the show.

We were recapping Cross, but we dropped it in order to recap Should We Kiss First, which airs on the same day. Our self-imposed goal is to try and get the recaps out the same day the show airs (or at least the next day) and we have SO MANY SHOWS to recap on Mondays and Tuesdays, so Cross fell by the wayside (three a day is our current max, also, when did we start recapping 3 shows a day???). But we do have some interest in continuing with the recap from a couple people. We could try to post the Cross recaps on Wednesday and Thursday, that is definitely doable. Let us know if that interests you.

We also have our eyes on several shows coming out a little bit down the line! So far we are looking at: Are You Human Too (M&T), My Ajusshi (W&Th), Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food (F&S), Live (S&Su), and Grand Prince (S&Su). We don’t know which ones we will do as livecaps or aftercaps, but we will send an email to our newsletter crew to get their opinion on what shows everyone on there wants us to recap live. I am super new to the newsletter thing though, so bear with me as I try to figure it out! And of course anyone can always let us know what shows interest them in the comments.

We also actually weren’t sure if we wanted to do A Poem A Day instead of Are You Human, Too. But so far the deciding factor is that Are You Human, Too comes on KBS2 and it is a lot easier to watch shows live on KBS2 than it is on tvN.

So far our March Lineup might look like this:
(The shows that will take over currently airing shows are in parenthesis)

MONDAY + TUESDAY
Radio Romance (then Are You Human too) | KBS2 | 22:00 (live)
Waikiki | jtbc | 23:00 (live)
Should We Kiss First?| SBS | 22:00 (After Waikiki)

WEDNESDAY + THURSDAY
My Ajushi | tvN | 21:30 (live?)
Queen of Mysteries 2 | KBS2 | 22:00 (live?)

FRIDAY + SATURDAY
Misty (then Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food) | jtbc | 23:00 (live)

SATURDAY + SUNDAY
Hwayugi (then Live) | tvN | 21:00 (live)
Hyori’s Bed & Breakfast | jtbc | 21:00 (live?)
Grand Prince | TV Chosun | 22:50 (live?)
Children of a Lesser God | OCN | 22:20 (after Grand Prince?)

Looking at our upcoming dramas made me realize that we have definitely been bitten by the live recapping bug over hear. We are going to try and recap 4 shows on the weekend since we’ll have way more time to spare. But we we may drop one show (either Live, Children of a Lesser God, or Grand Prince) depending on our time constraints. We will never drop Hyori’s B&B. In fact, if you are looking for a variety show to watch then I recommend checking out Hyori’s Bed and Breakfast if you get a chance. It is a really fun and relaxing show that might make you want to relax on some land with your boo, eat hearty food, drink tea, and chill. I love it.

As much as I don’t want you to give up Cross, I guess it’s okay since the following day it has English sub already.
Thank you for live recapping the previous episodes. I really enjoyed reading them whenever I am restless in wanting to know what happened in the latest episode.

Thank you Margarita! That makes us feel so good. Hopefully we will pick up another drama that you will like. Subs is a big thing we took into consideration when dropping Cross. We knew that Dramafever had it so it would have subs out quickly 🙂

@*V thanks for the list – yay, I know I’ve heard quite a lot about Children of a Lesser God (bit angsty). And after marathon watching Mystery Queen season 1, I’m so watching season 2 lol.

And there’s that new Lee Jun Ki drama so I’m excited lol. Contemplating doing a weekend marathon of Weightlifting Fairy, OK, it’s lightweight but hey sometimes just LOL is not too bad, it’s Lent so I’m so missing ice cream so lightweight Kdrama is a good substitute 😂

Weightlifting Fairy is so good! Do it! (I am a horrible enabler sometimes 🙂 ) Have a wonderful Lent and good luck with giving up ice cream. You can do it, Lent will be over before you know it 🙂

Yay that you are including My Ajushi on your possible recap list!!! March 21st can’t come fast enough although I am very worried to see how Oh Dal Su’s recent scandal would affect it. I don’t see how they can continue to include his scenes, but reshooting with a different actor or eliminating his character entirely would be problematic too.

I am a bit worried about that too. But at least they have a few weeks to sort it out! I think My Ajusshi is scheduled to air on March 21st, so they might be able to reshoot his scenes.
