Alright y’all. Today on VIP Jung-sun found out, without a reasonable doubt, that Yuri is definitely-definitely the mistress-mistress. So not only did Sung-joon cheat on her, he continuously lied to her about it when he said that she does not know that person and Sung-joon was interacting with her and helping her all along the way.
I mean, Jung-sun actually felt pity for Yuri when Yuri was accused of being the VP’s mistress. She took up for her and gave her advice. But now the tables have turned, wow.
We also found out a bit about Sung-joon’s past which is basically exactly like Yuri’s past. He is the product of an affair and has had to hang his head his entire life as he apologizes about it.
In a flashback we see that he got close to Yuri on the day his secret father died. She actually saw an argument he had with his step-family about it where Sung-joon was a doormat to his step-brothers rage.
Then she got him drunk (I think she did that on purpose!) and happily flirted with him on the way back to her place. She looks amazingly innocent, but I think that she knew what she was doing.
Okay, now off to Jung-sun. Y’all, Jung-sun is so bout it! She took that moment at the dinner with the VP’s family to politely and completely turn the tables on Sung-joon. She let them all know that Jung-soon and Yuri loved each other, had evidence to go with it, and went on ahead and slide it right across the table to the VP.
But in the preview, it looks like the VP is completely on Yuri’s side and is going to coach her on how to talk to Jung-sun. It kind of appears that the VP is going to teach Yuri that she is the top dog in this situation and should act like it.
So even if she did sleep with Sung-joon, she is still the Chairman’s grand daughter and the VPs daughter. She is the future of this company. In this situation, it really looks like Jung-sun should find another job. Her husband is the VPs right hand man and his other woman is the VPs daughter. Talk about awkward!

Hi! I so agree with you. I’m guessing the coming episodes would break JS. The VP might even tell SJ to divorse his wife to marry his daughter ( his dog and b*tch daughter together) Hope JS will find happiness at the end and SJ and Yuri get their retribution.

Yeah it seem Yuri is so obsessed with SJ right now so no doubt VP and she will make things difficult for JS. Thats why i want JS to move on, literally shes is just alone, SJ doesn’t seems to reciprocate her effort to try piece back their marriage. No need to keep this kind of man around. -_-

I love this drama. I was holding out hope that he was not cheating. With so many episodes left to air I suspect we will see a back story as to what happened in the marriage. Having watched I Have a Lover, which was a great drama with a cheating husband that you initially hated but ended up loving him,I have hope that this will end well. As for revenge on her part it will be difficult with his position as the VP’s poop boy and with the VP’s daughter. I don’t think she hates him, she hates what he has done to her. It will be interesting to see where this goes with her position at the company, her marriage and the affair. I don’t believe he has any feelings other than pity for Yuri. He clearly does not love her. He is a sorry excuse of a man. I am still waiting to see some redeeming qualities in him. The best revenge is being happy in your career and with someone else. I would love to see them introduce a new love interest for her. I think then we may see some emotion out of him. I think then we may see some emotion out of him.
I’m wondering whether Daniel the owner of the company will come back to display an interest in JS and make SJ crazy with jealousy. I hate Yuri and would like to give her a hard slap. So not innocent and deserves a healthy dose of Karma.
Would love to see something other than a flat affect from SJ. I think JS and SJ may both be mourning the loss of their baby given the nursery scene.

Thank you for writing up a detailed update, wanted to follow the series just for Jang Nara. I really wish they could go back in time just like in ‘ Go back couple’ and there she should outright reject his proposal…the cheat and liar.
I was so sure that sth else was going on, that he wasn’t really cheating,…but this…. Wow. He’s the worst. Always passive and closed off to her like that, continuously lying to her even when she outright asked him and loved him enough to give him a second chance. And he seemed to regret it, but it always felt like he didn’t fully close the door on that affair. The worst! Worse than Yuri, since he is the one who is married, who made that promise to his partner.
I loved Jung Sun’s speech to Yuri about the special treatment, that was amazing. I’m hoping that she will confide in Hyun Ah next week.

Why would you wish her t get pregnant??!! That is the absolute last thing that needs to happen and will just make her life harder if she decides to leave him. I don’t think the writer wrote this story with a telenovela in mind because that completely ruins the movie. Why would she want to have a child for someone she already spites?
