The Tale of Nokdu continues to win the Monday & Tuesday ratings race drawing 7.1% viewers on Monday and 6.7% viewers on Tuesday. It came pretty much out of nowhere as Flower Crew Joseon Marriage Agency was the show that got the most buzz heading in.
But Flower Crew is struggling to find a captivating storyline, making many viewers jump ship, and has only seen its ratings drop steadily, now sitting at 2.98% for episode 8. The other show in Monday & Tuesday is The Great Show on tvN, bringing in 2.68% viewership.
The Tale of Nokdu deserves to be the champ of Monday and Tuesday because its storyline is zippy and fresh with believable moments of soleda that give me chills, (the delighted kind of chills, not the Strangers from Hell kind).
It is a wonderfully full hearted show with well thought out flashbacks in key moments where you really wonder what happened all that time ago. I love how the story is unfolding to us and am really looking forward to the next episode.
