Is Park Bo-gum supposed to be reading Korean books in Havana? Because it would be kind of wonderful if Cuba had a Korean library like that. Or is he in Korea and reading a lot because he does not have a job? Or perhaps he is reading because he cannot keep a job due to always reading on the job? Is he a book model? All I want to do is dissect these photos.
I noticed he’s wearing the same clothing in two of these pictures (white shirt and beige pants) which makes me think that he checked out a few books from the library, rode home on the bus, and came back the next, much colder, day to get another one. On a side note, he has a man purse that seems to exist everywhere except in the US. And, of course, men have to wear it across their chest because the strap does not have hills to climb and divide, so to speak.
Surprisingly, he looks rather preppy in all of these images and not at all like the downtrodden just-making-it man that I assumed he was. Maybe it is just me, but I thought he would be like that kid that stayed out all night at Coachella and didn’t bring a change of underwear to his aunts house. Disheveled, a bit grungy, though still smoldering. Yet these three shots make him look like he was dipped in a JCrew catalogue with Barnes & Noble sprinkles on top.
Even so, we can all clearly see why Song Hye-kyo’s character will fall for him, right? Especially since she does not have to worry about money. All us other ladies would enjoy staring at him for a few months until we kick him out of the house to go find a job! I might even fill out that Half Price Books application for him.
