Start-Up is Inching Upward in Ratings for Episodes 1-4

After having watched the first episode of Start-Up, and really enjoying it (IT HAD MAGIC HIDDEN INSIDE), I was curious to see how the ratings were doing in Korea because ratings can make or break a show (they sometimes start doing all sorts of crazy things if the ratings are low). So far so good.

The show started out with 4.53% ratings on the first episode and was able to increase that to 4.6% ratings by the second. Not a big increase at all, but hey, at least they didn’t lose any watchers!

They were able to jump to 5% on episode three and then made another nice jump to 5.56% for episode four. So hey, it looks like the masses, or at least the ones able to watch, are enjoying what they are seeing. It also makes me want to get off my rump and watch episode 2 because I am woefully behind! (Responsibilities or dramas…why do I have to chooosee)

Anyone watching Start-Up? If so, how are you enjoying it? Adri did a wonderful write up on her impressions on the first episode. You can check that out right here!

I’m watching it, and I have my fingers crossed Suzy won’t drag it down. She is not one of my favorite actresses. I love the story and the rest of the cast so far.

I am watching this drama. I love Suzy and Nam Jo Hyuk, but I can’t stop from second lead Syndrome. Kim Down Ho is too sweet.
V, I hope you live recap this drama.
    I’ll wait.

Same. The second lead syndrome is stroooong with this one >.< I mean, they gave him such a compelling backstory. How could we not root for him?
