The stress keeps building this episode as Jung-sun tries to live in a world where her employee and her husband are cheating right in front of her face and she can’t really say anything about it.
At the beginning of the episode, Jung-sun calls Yuri to meet up right quick and slaps a B across the face for putting that text message crack in her and her husbands relationship.
It was supposed to be a meeting between only the two of them, but Sung-joon shows up and protects Yuri, though he also gets a slap for his troubles.
At work, Jung-sun has to continue working along side Yuri and going to meetings with her amidst their VIP team facing all sorts of issues. The biggest issue being that the VP is starting to remove their responsibilities and he has created a new VIP team called Prestige who will handle the top 1-99 VIPs and will be run by Yuri.
Sung-joon fights back in her own way and takes a proposal to the CEO noona to start a Black level VIP team. This team will cater to the elite of the Elite in all of Korea, not just their department store. The CEO loves this idea which will combine the Prestige team (which is handled by the marketing department and run by Yuri) and the VIP team which is their own department and is run by Jung-sun.
Sung-joon will be the leader of this super Black Team. That is how the episode ended. But there was lots of drama to be had. For one. Sung-joon and Yuri were locked on a rooftop together in the rain at a restaurant. When they were finally rescued, Sung-joon was the first person out and had to make a decision to go to either his wife with the umbrella or his mistress.
His foot chose his mistress as he started to walk in that direction. But he was partially saved by Sang-woo and Jin-ho hurrying out with their own umbrellas to take Jung-sun and Yuri back inside the building.
There was also this super awkward couples meeting that the company has every year that talks about how to be a good spouse. The instructor asked Jung-sun if he can tell everything to his wife and he did not respond at all. So the instruction was all like, um…okay, let’s end the talk right here.
In the background of this scene was the VP’s wife who is having all kinds of fun watching the Yuri, Jung-sun, Sung-joon tortilla unfold. She is clearly on Jung-sun’s side, though she has to be nice and respectful to Yuri now that Yuri is the official heir. Ah, I love the VP’s wife now. She is so cheeky!
In a side story, we get further confirmation and Mina and her husband’s marriage is stronger than ever as she has to come clean that she was the one that recorded the video. Director Bae ended up getting fired over all of this and Mina wonders if she should go on ahead and quit too. Her husband tells her not to and even buys her flats to wear to work.
Hyun-ah is a boss as always. I really hope she gets promoted. She started to get a bit closer to Jin-ho this episode, through a lovely assist by Ji-young who pulled the two to a drinking place together and then slid on out on the sly.
In the end, it looks like this is a for real battle with the strengths between the Prestige team and the VIP team for the success of the new Black Society Team. The strength on both sides is equal now that Sung-jun is about to be the CEO’s person and Sung-joon is the VPs person.
But the difference is that Jung-sun, Hyun-ah, and Sang-woo were all raised rich, so they know what rich people want. Yuri, Sung-joon and the other marketing team members were not raised rich, so they might not know what the VIP’s would want in a Black Society membership. Oh, I’m so excited to see how this will shake out!
The preview is below I cannot wait until tomorrow!
EPISODE 14 PREVIEW
CEO – I will support you.
VP – If General Manager Na is doing this then I cannot give her any more breaks.
Woman – What is the ideal husband for you?
Yuri – A warm and nice person
Woman – You look like you belong there already
SJ’s mom – You don’t know what you lost!
Woman – Maybe Sang-woo is interested in General Manager Na
Wife – Executive Park and On Yuri will be destroyed.
JS – I hope they become as miserable as possible
SJ – I may have to attack you
Just not interested no more, first time I closed out a drama, too much pain. & not enough gain.
Me to same
I hope the ending is worth it.. hopefully JS walks out getting something good out of It And SJ feels the guilt and regret and YR I have no words.
I feel that we are in a blind spot where anything can happen. So far JS fails to strike a blow, hopefully in the new group that was created she can show all her strength.
On the other hand SJ did not show what his game is yet, I began to think that he is mistreating his wife for some plan or to protect her. Is it silly to think this?
I am wondering the same too coz why would he just treat his wife so cold like that
I am hoping for Jung-sun victorious. Sung-joon, Yuri, and her so called father in the car at the end of (the drama) Misty. Also add the sexual harrassment man Bae in the car.
What kind of demon possess Sung-joon so cruel.
Anyway I think that is the best way to for Jung-sun to move on.
So watching today’s episode and tomorrow’s episode preview the driftwood finally speaks and removes all doubt that he is despicable.
SJ totally JERK
I want Sang-Woo to marry JS!!!
OKay everyone I have a theory as to how this is going to end!!!
I think that JS is going to marry SangWoo and the traders will either be exposed or completely unhappy (either way I need those cheater to NOT have a HAPPY ENDING). Here’s why SANG WOO would be perfect for her…..
1. he pays attention ( he pays attention to her and feels for her idk what else to say)
2. he treats her better (umbrella scene, little hulk scene!!!)
3. he’s younger (he’ll be more patient with her and give her time as he too needs time to grow, if that makes any sense)
4. he knows her story ( he knows what she has gone through and how eloquently she handles herself this should make him value her more than donkey butt SJ)
okay, now this is not just a baseless assumption ( I hope not)… IN the beginning Sang Woo was deeply impressed by her that was a main part of the trailer if I’m not mistaken. The writers sneakily informed us that he is actually a chaebol himself, I don’t think they would have done that if he was not important. Lastly, the writers are showing how he actually cares for her. I know I could be completely wrong and they might just use Sang woo as bait but tbh I hope they don’t because he seems like he could be a great caring partner for JS and she needs that right now!!!!
I like this theory but I would like to actually see this relationship grow…do we have enough time?
SJ is a putz for SURE but I am still holding out (probably false) hope that there is an actual reason for 16 episodes of watching this…because if it’s simply a cheating husband does our girl dirty the writer / pd could have been much more up front about that and maybe actually given Lee Sang Yoon something more to do than comfort the god awful YR character. (A girl can dream right?)
Tbh I couldn’t see her forgiving him ( maybe i’m too much of an Idealists and i don’t like liars/cheaters in general) even if he does have another motive i wouldn’t want her to forgive him he has hurt her too much simply put I don’t find him worthy of her
if the writers do try to come up for an excuse for him it better be good!!!!
we really don’t have too much time to see JS & Sang Woo’s relationship grow but as long as they show them being happy in the future i’d be content
the end of this drama, the husband and his affair must be destroyed, destroyed, lost everything
I think they are going to patch up the wife js and sj because in episode 14 you can see that yoori pushes js down and sj is freaking out and yoori has gone made over js and sj
