Recap: Vincenzo FINAL (Episode 20)

Vincenzo kills all the bad guys painfully (very painfully, we’re talking Saw level deaths) the end.

COMMENTS

Okay, I’m being facetious, but seriously, that is the end of this drama. The tenants happily have all the gold, all the bad guys get it in the end to a gruesome level, and all the tiny corrupt company or political heads get thrown in jail. Unfortunately a favorite does not live to see the end of the show which is a bummer but this show went off the walls ridiculous plot wise a while ago so there’s that.

I don’t have much of a recap because I was mostly just continuing to watch Vincenzo to see if I could finish it. It was like running a marathon on a snail to get to the end, y’all, and I may have fast forwarded through most of it (somehow this episode still managed to be 1.5 hours!).

It was a fun-ish ride, in some parts, a boring one in others, and nonsense everywhere else. Though the first four episodes were great and actually spurred me to watch the next sixteen. Plus, Song Joong-ki is not bad to look at. 😉

Did the finale live up to anyone’s wishes? Did you love it to death and want to tell someone about it? Let us know! I think I will be moving to light hearted romance for the time being. Any upcoming drama recommendations?

Bossam: steal the fate seems very promising.Very slow subbing. Maybe consider a replay ep a la Mr. Queen?

I so miss Mr. Queen and the love to it shared on These pages.

Ooh, I need to look up Bossam, I haven’t heard of that one yet! I might have to consider a Mr. Queen rewatch, especially those hilarious opening episodes 😂

I loved the finale of Vincenzo especially the deaths of Ms Choi and Han seok but found it unnecesary that han seo. Would have loved to see him as the new chairman of Babel

I know! I was sad about the Han-seo part. I really liked him!

You deserve an award just for sticking with this awful mess until the end. This recap is perfect. They all died. The End.

I thought the message in Vincenzo was the worst theme in the history of themes. As to the way they left the female lead – it was a poor man’s Crashed Landing finale – he can’t come to her country and she doesn’t want to leave hers because of her work, so they’ll steal time together on some island off Malta while he runs a crime family. Yup – a CRIME family.

But he’s going to clean up the human garbage. Clint Eastwood – clean up on Aisle 9.

And that scene in Ep 19 where Vince is holding his girlfriend while the other guy fights to his death was so over the top stupid it made me not only want to bang my head on the table to make it stop, I yelled out FFS and made the dogs bark. Then the bad guy escapes, out the window, three stories up. Sure pal.

I liked the monks. It would have been better had it been a drama about the monks. Less boring.

Thanks again for the recaps, which were made unnecessarily arduous by scriptwriters suffering from ADD. I only watched to see the villains get theirs –

and even that was just ridiculous and gross. I blame COVID. People need to get out and get back to normal. And then perhaps creativity will run around in daylight again. All these dark dramas don’t help.

He jumped out the window!!!!! I was like um? Did he just get super powers?

I love your comment! It has me rolling. I agree with everything. Hopefully some light hearted dramas can make an appearance soon? Dare I say comedies?

I am so happy to see that other people didn’t like this. I kept reading all these glowing comments elsewhere and I thought “am I watching a different show?” I watched for SJK and even that was a hard slog.

Hahaha! Yes, this show was a hard watch. I watched for SJK and the other actors who were great, but the actual show was such a slog!
