Episode 20 MY LIFE WITHOUT ME
Oh god…that title could be that he stays in the past or goes to the future. So enigmatic. Then again, it could mimic the Chinese drama and give us a happy ending only for assassins to come out of nowhere and kill them both. The uncertainty is killing me.
With evil scarface guy being given a rifle, I wonder if the bulletproof vest idea that SY tossed around in a previous episode will materialize.
I just don’t want BH to go back. To leave their child. Leave CJ. Have done all the hard work and have SY (who isn’t a bad person but whose personality I find a bit bratty and selfish) reap all the benefits. How will I ever sleep tonight?
So the theme will either be –
A. knowing the future makes it possible to change the past
or
B. Destiny is immutable.
Either the Queen’s tactics were enough to change the balance of power or they weren’t. I’m betting the contribution of Bong Hwan has a purpose, so I’m going with A. And if you’re going to change history at all, do it to make us happy, ohn?
The queen will be injured, and will part ways with BH, but she will recover and ‘live her life’ without the future part of her. She will have the memories they share, because she also contributed to their actions, and the person who remains will be 100% unconflicted in her love for CJ.
