OPENING
JH looks at his phone. JA tells him to open the phone! He opens it and sees her running to his place. They hug and kiss at the door and go inside.

But the mother is looking at her daughters empty bed like a serial killer. She walks to the living room and sits on the couch. She is looking off at nothing and starts to breathe hard as she thinks and thinks and thinks. She puts on her shoes and a long shall and heads out into the rain. It looks like she called a taxi, so she hops in and they leave.

At JH’s place, clothes are scattered everywhere.

The taxi drives through the rain. The mother asks asks the taxi driver to drive slower. Then she looks out the window.

JH’s place is quiet.

Mom gets to the elevator and goes up. She rings the doorbell and we see her rom the intercome.

JH comes to the door with his shirt off. He lazily puts it on as he checks the door. Then his eyes grow wide. He doesnt’ say anything. Mom rings the doorbell again. JH thinks for a moment then turns on his light. he rests his hands on his back and starts to quetly pick up JA’s things. He asks JA what they should do. She is under the covers. he says that his friend is there, don’t come out, I will tell him to go.

JH goes outside, it looks like he might have left JA’s shoes at the door though? He goes outside and shuts his door. She tells him to open the door. He politely says he won’t open it. She tries to get in. He tells her that he will let her go. He will open the door and let her go, but he would like her to leave noona alone. Mom is all like, this is not how this works. Do you think I will like you if you are on my daughters side? JH says that she will be so hurt if she sees her, it is not for him, it is for herself. Can’t she just let this go? He will let her leave right away, I beg you.

Mom walks off. JH stays at the door with his head bowed until she is far enough away. Then he goes back inside.

One of the OST’s starts to play as he walks through his house looking sad. But then he finds out that JA is hiding in teh closet. He brightens his face and opens the door. he lies and says that he told his friend to go buy drinks. JA hugs him and says she will hurry out right now. She puts on all her clothes and runs to the elevator, he follows her. They wait happily for the elevator.

Umma is still there spying on them in the corner. She sees her daughter get into the elevator and sighs.

JH walks her all the way to her car. he says he is sorry about this, she tells him that he shouldn’t be sorry. She kisses him and they playfully talk about not calling each other when she gets home. he tells her not to drive too fast. She pulls out and waves. He watches her the entire way.

Umma is back at JH’s door, waiting for him. He runs up there and lets her in. They both go inside together.

He asks her if she wants to drink any tea. She says she doesn’t need any! She sits on the couch and he kneels in front of her. She slaps him right away. But she looks like she feels like she shouldnt’ have done it possibly?

Meanwhile, JA calls JH as she drives home. But he doenst’ pick up because he is still kneeling in front of her mother. Mom gets on her knees as well.

Mom – JH, you know how I think about you guys. If you know that then you shouldnt’ do this! Everyone can make mistakes.
JH – Meeting JA is not a mistake. Mom – Right now you can think this way. You came this far. We should look far ahead. JA has a lot of life in the future, you shouldnt’ waste this time. You won’t be happy with what I say, but as a mom I can only do this, we are like family, but what is happening shouldnt’ happen.
JH – The two of us are just dating as man and woman, can you see it that way.
MOm – Understand me, I beg you, I beg you (she begs him)
JH – Just sit comfortably.
Mom – Do you understand what I just said?

JA gets home.

JA rides her elevator upstairs.

Mom – I also feel bad. We should resolve things and live happily.
JH – SOrry, I am not fgoing to do that.
Mom – You are going to continue
JH – you are right
Mom – I thought you were a bigger person…
JH – Sorry, I can’t live without noona.

JA goes upstairs, she is at JH’s place! OMG. She asks why he lied to her. Why did you lie to me!!! Umma tells her to come out. JA yells, this is all you can do! She gets slapped. JA yells at her again. Umma yells back. What did you guys do! What did you do! JA asks, what are you imagining? Do you want me to tell you in detail?

Umma starts to hit JA a lot and JH covers JA so he gets hit a lot. JH tells JA that he is okay. But JA is crying and asks him why he says that everything is fine all the time!

Umma leaves which makes JA and JH grow quiet. JH tells her that he is okay. JA tells him that she is okay as well. She can go through everything. Bye-bye.

But she pauses at the door and then comes back and kisses JH.

JH is so stressed, he rests his arms on the counter.

JA leaves and walks right past her mother. her mother jogs to catch up.

KS is in her house looking at her phone and thinking. JH is still at his counter, but he gets up and crouches in his living room at his little table. His hands are on his head. it looks like he might be crying, but we only see his back.

JA drives home with a rage building inside. But she is quiet. Umma is in the passenger seat and is also quiet. They get home and JA goes to her room (she should move out, seriously). Umma goes to her room, but gives a little look in JA’s direction.

MORNING
Appa wakes up and asks his wife if JA went to work already. Umma asks him if he woke her up when he went out in the morning. He says, of course. She sighs and says that he should know what he is doing now and not cry about it later.

COMPANY
JA waits for the elevator with HG and the CEO. They talk about dating and joke about how she has too much dating. JA asks HG if he liked watching the movie with CG? It was a bromance movie, was it good? I forgot to tell you I gave a ticket to the other guy also. HG just nods and goes into the elevator.

Cut to a stairwell. JM and CG talk about how JA is meeting with CEO. JM thinks CG should think about surviving (but he presses the button on his recording pen). CG thinks he should blame the director and then this issue won’t go too far. He has to get the evidence and blame him.

JA meets with CEO in his office. He thinks that he is not satisfied, but it got a lot better. She should come back, he shouldnt’ put a good employee like you outside. Do you want to come back? You dont’ look too happy? She says it is nothing. He asks if the female employee problem is more serious than what he hears. She says she was the one that just wanted to make all the harrassment pass and make it all happy. But she is thinking of her happiness more. She will raise her voice later. He tells her okay, you can enjoy your drink. They both drink their tea/coffee.

The ladies look at all the perverted text mesages from the director about how they have nice lipstick today and they look good today. They think they have to tell him something but they want to throw up.

Meanwhile, JM meets with some of the other men in the company. the other men don’t really pay attention to the sexual harrassemtn, they don’t care. But JM says he worries about them because their image is tainted from those few bad guys. These guys might all be under JM. One of the guys says that he has something. He didnt’ take this picture on purpose, he just took it as a joke. JM sees the video of HG harrassing JA and other female employees at the norebang.

Cut to all the females meeting and talking about if they will get retaliated against. they might not be fired, but maybe they will have a hard time. SY thinks that #metoo and making people come out is not that great. They need to get their ideas together and talk later (she has a secret deal with the director, SY, so she is a mole). SY leaves. But then she goes to meet the director.

JM goes into YI’s office and gives her a report. She wonders what it is and looks at him suspiciously. Then she looks at the report. She sees the usb inside the report and she watches it. In the video, CG drinks and dances and touches all the ladies inappropriately. HG also does he same. A lot of this involves JA, so maybe that worker really likes JA. SY sighs and holds her head…ah….Yoon Jin-ah.

In the office, BR looks at JA, she looks at bit concerned. JA is just working as usual.

Later, SY meets with KS and tells her that there is nothing she can pick on. She hates her so she wants to pick on something (playfully). they start to talk about JA and JH. Are JA’s parents happy? KS says no one is happy with anyone. This makes SY happy. KS tells her that she likes this too much.

HOME
Umma and Appa talk. Umma asks Appa if his hubae is still at work. Can he introduce JA to him. that way JA can quit her job and get another one. Appa thinks she is going too far, it is hard to get a job. But Umma says that is why she is asking him! She starts to talk about how Appa should have kept his job, then JH wouldnt’ have wanted JA, he is looking down on them now. But Appa just tells her to stop doing this to him. He leaves. But then he comes back and takes his wifes food and throws it away.

JH WORK
They are all looking at the screen and discussing China. they wonder when they will go there. They asks JH if he is still not going. He says that’s right, he is still not going. He says he lived in America for 3 years. he gets up to leave and everyone says he is going crazy with his girlfriend. After ward, it looks like everyone hates him. One of his friends tells him not to be so crazy, he might get fired. JH says he will just get fired then. he gets a text from JA

JA: do you have time?
JH: WHy?
JA: nyam nyam (eat something)

They keep texting and JH laughs.

While eating, they eat pretty quietly. It is almost awkward. JH brings up Umma first. She says nothing happened with her mother He says that is good, she understood you well. She tells him not to say things like that, it is okay for him to be angry at her mother, he is okay, that is good for her. He tells her that she doesn’t look pretty for the first time. He knows what kind of person she is, but she says bad things for him and misbehaves at home, dont’ do that, it makes me uncomfortable. He says he is okay, just dont’ do anything untrustful. he is okay. She asks if he should jsut watch him getting hurt. He says he is okay because she is next to him.

She gets up and goes next to him. Like this? Then he tells her she is pretty again and they talk about how she can’t die without her permission. She can raise his arms and legs….just joking…..

They walk afterward. She asks if he wants to keep their relationship a secret? He kisses her suddenly. then he asks what? they keep joking and having fun.

Someone came back from Incheon airport. It is a man who is iding ina taxi. He stays in a very expensive hotel.

A woman is washing dishes or cooking. It looks like JA? Yeah, it is JA. She is at home and doing all the washing, possibly for her mother? But she finishes and tells her mother that she is leaving to see KS. Take you medicine. JA leaves. Umma basically starts sobbing from stress.

JH is at work and is talking to SH. He asks why he is dating his sister? JH says it is because she is pretty. SH shoots his gun at him.

JA meets with KS for drinks. She wants to know why KS isn’t calling her. It basically has to do with JA’s mother. They talk about enduring things. JA thinks she was a soldier and saved KS and JH’s lives in a past life, that is why they are so good to her now. But JA says that no one is as good to her. KS asks if JH is having a hard time. JA says that he doens’t tell her. they try to change the mood though and mention having just one drink! They both happily hop up.

JH talks to JA on the phone and laughs. He tells her not to drink too much, okay, just one drink, I will call you later. SH is still with him. SH thinks he shouldnt’ have come there, kids should listen to their mothers. How can a mama’s boy not listen to his mother? SH says he roleplays as a mama’s boy, that way she thinks her son still needs her help, so that makes her happy. You should consult my mother and make ti seem like you need her. JH thinks he knows his mother well but not his sister.

later, they take a taxi and talk about how JA’s changed. They talk about how much they know their own sisters. JH jokes and tells SH to call him brother in law. They playfully fight about that.

They get to KS’s coffee shop and see the ladies dancing and singing happily. It is a sight that makes them both pause.

The ladies see the boys, but they ignore SH and run up to JH. You are my brother! You are my boyfriend! You are my sister in law! they law and giggle.

JH goes to sit with SH who is all alone at a table, lol. He tells JH, you still like her? Go away.

JH walks JA to the bathroom. KS and SH are alone. KS asks for a favor, can you help JA? that is helping JH. SH says he understands what she says. KS says he thought about it, JA and JH, we don’t know what will happen, but for her, she is not going to lose her friend JA, she is going to do that and he should do that also. SH says he doesnt’ like JH that much. They joke back and forth. KS asks if SH really hates JH, can’t she just beg him? She gets on her knees and he is all like…woooooah, don’t do that! but she gets up right away and says she was joking, he should tell noona yes right away.

SY gives the usb to JA. She watches it. It looks like all the evidence is about JA so she needs to come out or not come out. JA puts the computer in the cabinet and then thinks about it.

Cut to JA walking to work and talking to JH. But we don’t know what they are talking about. It looks like it is possibly her testifying. He holds her hand reassuringly. Later, JA sits in front of her computer and tries to type something, but it is hard to start. She finally starts.

JA – This is Yoon Jin-ah, for the last 10 years I worked as a supervisor, I am confessing all the things I suffered. All the stories are based on truth. I can confess at anytime….

MORNING
JA leaves a shop and runs into one of the neighborhood ajumma’s. She is doing all the housework for her mother, the ajumma jokes that she can get married now. JA laughs along and then walks home. She prepares everything at home. Her mother tells them all to sit down, this is nothing! then she tells JA that she has a blind date, empty your time. You already have an apointment, so just go.

SH asks Umma if she is a chaebol? Umma tells him to shut up. But JA says she has an appointment and can’t make it. Appa tells JA not to listen to mother, if you listen to her than I will punish you! Then he tells his wife that she didn’t even listen to her daughter! He stands up and yells at JA. She says yes or no! You are all out! Freedom of speech is the most important thing! Get out if you won’t listen to me! Both women leave. SH tells Appa that he went to far this time.

JH is at his sisters place. they are playful and are having a good time. But then KS gets a phone call and tells JH to leave. She looks at the phone. Cut to the man from earlier on the phone.

JH is on the phone with KS, she tells him that she has to go somewhere so they should eat dinner and not lunch. She apologizes for not keeping their promise. JH wonders why she is not going together. KS says she can do many things, don’t cry and wait for me. He smiles and tells her to wait for him. She says she is busy at work and has to go.

Jh looks at the phone.

Meanwhile, JA puts on all her nice clothing. Perhaps she is going to the blind date? Appa comes into the room and says that JA is a good girl, she does all these things for her mother. Maybe it is good to go out. JH softly tells her father that she knows he wants to help her, but that might give her a harder time, she just doenst’ want to draw attention. She doens’t want to be the center of attention at home or at work. Today is for JH, she is going there for JH.

JA puts on her jacket, grabs her bag, and heads out. Appa holds the door for her.

JH goes to his sisters place and wonders what she is doing. She is dressed up so he wonders why she is going to work like that. KS says this is her regular clothing, but then she says she has something else to do. he tells her to tell him or he will follow her. She tells him that father came home. he asked to see her. JH is upset about that, he doenst’ want her to see him. But KS is determinded, whatever happens, she wants to get her revenge.

JA walks to the hotel for her blind date. It looks like this might be the same hotel that KS is going to in order to meet her father.

JA goes inside and then leaves. She was in and out. She waits outside and thinks for a moment. KS gets out of the taxi and asks what she is doing there….it’s not….that crazy. JA asks KS not to tell Jh about it, not about the blind date. KS thought JA went there to see KS’s father, but JA says it is a blind date. KS is pretty upset about the blind date and tells JA to finish it with JH.
