OPENING
We open at the end of the last scene. The friend asks if the girl he knows knows that he is acting like this. JH wants to talk about something else.

Then JA holds his hand under the table and he starts hiccupping. We see their hands under the table, they hold them tighter and he starts to smile. He can’t hold back his smile and has to lick his lips to hide it. She just drinks her beer.

Afterwards they all leave together. All the guys like SY and want to drop her off. JH tells him friend to ride with the teamleader today. they asks JA where she lives, they can drop her off. JH says, OH thats right! I have something for you in my car. You can pick it up today!

She says, Oh! thats a great idea!

They both walk away and then stop to talk.

JH – why did you hold my hand
JA – because you hand was there, you didn’t like it?
It’s not that i didn’t like it
You held mine too
Why did you hold mine first
JA – you don’t know how timing is important between man and woman
JH – so we are man and woman now
JA – I am just telling you, you shouldn’t argue
JA – do you really have to put me in the corner
JH – You put me in the corner, you made me a loser in front of everyone.

They both laugh and they say that they should got work, there aren’t any over nighters at our company.

They both walk into the building and smile at the security. They say…um…I have to work….um…bye bye. They awkwardly stand and swing around as they wait at the elevtor. then they get on and she gets off at her company. He tries to hold on to her hand a little longer. She goes to her building holding her face as she smiles so brightly.

He goes up to his company and turns on al the lights and starts to clean up all around. JA makes them both drinks in her company, a couple people are around. He is trying to fins a cool way to sit on the couch and then he holds a pillow and starts punching it in excitement. She reaplies her makeup.

then he waits for her at the elevator. The doors open, but no one is there, it closes. But then it opens again and a drunk friend comes in stumbling and falling around. JH is all like….um….why are you here? The friend says that he is there to get his backpack, but then he falls on the couch and is about to sleep.

JA comes in at that moment and sees him, she treis to hide behind one of the large cartoon cutouts. The drunk man wants to know who that woman is that he was talking about, what kind of woman makes yor heart long like that. When you were in the army…..you were like So-jang (his ex girldfriend)….is she better than her, you wanted to kill yourself for her….

JH packs him up and drags his drunk friend out. This is a reversal of the scene where he got locked in the building. JH is outside getting a taxi for his drunk friend and puts him in it safely and pays for the taxi. The friend says he loves him! And JH is all like…me tt, me too.

Then JH takes off and calls JA. She says that she is so scared, when is he coming? He tells her to count to 100 ….no, count to 10….and he will be there! She laughs as she hangs up the phone.

He runs into the office, it is pitch black as he looks for her. Then a light turns on and she has a mask on. It scares him enough to fall to the ground. He tells her that seh drives him crazy and is a little upset. he sits at his desk and she tells him not to get mad. He says he isn’t mad so she says she won’t give him coffee.

She says she will have coffee with his friend. he wants to know why, she says it is to find out about So-jang! And laughs as she runs off.

She sits on the couch with her coffee and he sits across from her ina chair. He says you said youa re supposed to be on fire when you love someone 9in regards to So-jang) you said that. She says he has a great memory. they both shake it off though and he pulls her away to see some of his work.

They sit at his desk and look at all the drawings he made. She points at all the sexy woman characters and is all like …..!!!!!! What is this!!!!! the camera shows them smiling and her pointing at characters as they look at the screen. then we see her trying to draw one of the characters. He holds her hand as they both draw together on the screen.

Then we cut to her cleaning her face and brushing her teeth for bed. She puts on a face mask and walks aour her room looking for something. Cut to a taxi dropping him off somewhere. He gets out and runs into a building.

JA sets up some books and computers to look nice in the background and then gets a call from JH. She holds the phone so she looks pretty. He does the same thing and says that he just got home. But in the background we see that he changed clothes and is also sitting somewhere that looks nice.

Montage of them talking and laughing all night. And then we see JA sleeping with her cell phone on her cheek. She wakes up and checks the phone. She is late! She hops up and gets ready and runs to the kitchen. She tells her mom she should have woken her up! But her mom basically said it is good to sleep in every now and again. She runs out. The father says that it seems like she was talking to someone all night. I don’t know who it is, just leave her alone about it. (the mom wonders if it was a man). then they start to talk about soju and drinking and JA’s life.

Appa is all like, I worked for 30 years! But the mom thinks he should work so the kids will be more confident.

JA gets a call in her car. She says she is leaving now….you’re almost here???? Okay, I am getting out of the house now! JA puts the car in reverse and goes to park it again. But JH sees her because he is already at the house. He watches her park her car while laughing. She gets out and checks her face and then walks like she just left her house. She hurries to the front and he runs up to her as well.

She tells him that he should have called her but he says her phone was off. her batery died. He asked her if she just came down from her house and she says yes. He starts laughing and she is like…..you saw everything????? She is so embarrassed. they get in the car with her covering her head. But the they hold hands in the car and start to banter back and forth about how she looks cute. She is so cute. Really? Yes I won’t let you go…never, because of how I neded up holding your hand. Do you think we are okay? We should be. Aren’t you afraid? We didn’t commit any crimes. Are you trustworthy? Ah….you fell in love with me too much already, heeheehee.

COMPANY
A company meeting just ended and everyone gets up to leave. But CG says that there is one more thing, the boss gave him an order. the new branch is a family member of the boss or the director. So they are thinking of who to send, you guys decide and give me the result.

Everyone starts leaving one by one until only YE is left. She goes to meet with the other woman and wants to know who has the time. They all talk about it, but no one wants to go there. YE doesn’t want to go there just because she is the youngest. Ah, they don’t want to do it becasue they will have to go with CG. BR basically tells her not to let CG just do anything he wants like JA does.

the woman go to sit and JA talks to them. Somehow JA says that she will go to the branch because they told her that they will do all her work. But then YE apologizes and says that this is an overnight trip with CG. JA’s eyes grow wide, what!!!!!!

She tells JH about it and he thinks his company doesn’t think about how they handle men and women. But he gets even more nervous when he finds out that she is going there with that pervert who touches women at the norebang. She says she thought she would leave and go there with him, she didn’t think she would have to go there with him. They playfully talk about it back and forth. She calls him crazy and he says that he is crazy…for someone, and he grabs her hand and pulls it to him. They only sit like that for a moment though because they are at work and see someone.

Then they start to talk about who can be a better actor when they go see JH’s sisters coffee shop.

Later on, JA works at the franchise company and tells the owner good night. He leaves, but then CG comes in. He asks if he can have a cup of coffee, he will pay for it.

Cut to KS talking to his sister at her shop. they are waiting there for JA.

But then we cut back to CG and JA talking at the company shop. He wants her back and she says that is wrong, seh is not an object that he can have. Don’t be like this, you are from a good school and you are rich. She tells him to leave, she has to close the store. But he just grabs her and tries to kiss her. She pushes him away. He tries it again and she pushes him away again. then she goes to the back and grabs something. He tries to kiss her again and she opens a whipped cream and shoots it in his face. She tells him he is the worst, men forcing themselves on women are the worst!

Cut to JH and KS in the car. KS is calling all around for JA, they can’t contact her. they are a little concerned about it.

back at the coffee shop, JA says that he needs to leave now or she will report him for sexual harrassment. He treis to clean the whipcream off. She says it will be a big problem if his family and her family have to meet at the polcie station. He storms off and she drops to the ground over come with the situation

the sister and the brother get to the coffee shop. Maybe JA called her? KS runs in and wonders what is going on. Who did this, who did this to you? A=There is glass all on the floor and JA loks pretty shaken up, but she is alright. JH is enraged and tries to breath a few times. He goes outside and tries to smoke. Then he goes to the convenience store and buys some medicine for her. He goes back and cleans up the mess in the kitchen.

KS yells at JA that they shouldn’t leave him alone. He is a crazy guy. But JA thinks it will be more trouble if they involve the polcie. Why didn’t you do anything! He basically says she is stupid for not defending herself. JH tells her that it won’t stop there, do you think it will stop? But KS pushes him outside and tells him not to make him more angry. then she goes back and tells her that she should have called someone, anyone.

JA says that she thought he would leave if she just talked to him. But KS says that she is too naive and a good person, that isn’t a good thing! JA starts crying and KS tells her to stop crying. JA says she shouldnt’ do this to me and KS pulls her into a big hug.

Later JH and JA talk outside. He says what he said wasn’t truthful, he was just angry. KS pushed her outside to get some cold air and is cleaning up. Are you angry? JH says he can’t do what he wants to do and he shouldn’t do it. She apologizes for making him worry. But she couldnt’ call him, she wished he was there with her. there is a bit of distance between them as they talk. he looks at her finger. She says it is just a little scratch and it doesnt hurt. But he says it hurts him. then he hugs her and tells her that he won’t leave her alone from now on. Their song starts to play

Cut to JA’s place. KS gives her a big hug and JA waves at JH while they hug. then they watch her go inside. Back at KS and JH’s apartment. She asks her brother if he wants to have a drink. He says that he is tired and will just sleep. But then he sneaks away before even going inside his place.

But then we cut to him at his house. He plays a song from a retro speaker to JA over the phone. We see her in bed listening to it.

MORNING
JA gets ready to go on her business trip, but she looks more dressed up than normal. the mothe rcomments on this. She thinks it is strange, maybe she is meeting a man. The mom thinks she might be meeting GM again. But the father says that he had an affair, don’t mention him anymore.

JA meets with JH outside and they talk like Joseon Dynasty to each other for fun. then they get into the car and leave together. Outside, there is an ajumma who lifts up her visor to look at them.

COMPANY
YI talks to HG about the boss checking promotional money from last year. HG is worred about this and YI just says she will check on it and smiles as she turns to leave. then we see HG talking to the CEO about how the other branch isn’t working so well, but the franchise owner is a family member. They don’t think they should cut the cost of the store, they should cut their employees first. The boss also thinks that JA is the only one that works hard because she is the only one that works when they have trouble.

Outside, the gaming friend sees SY and YE outside. She asks about JH. They leave and the two woman talk about JH. YE thinks he is a womanizer but SY doesn’t care, seh can train him.

BRANCH
Cut to JA tying her hair up in the car and JH looking at her. She tells him to stop looking at her but he wants to continue doing it. She tells him to have fun looking around, she is the one that make him feel needed. She is about to get out but he pull her back into a hug and then she leaves. H tries to tell her something, but she can’t hear it. She goes to his window and he rolls it down and he yells, YOU ARE PRETTY. They laugh and she runs into the building.

JA goes inside and greets CG. But CG is about to leave because he is meeting the owner of the coffee shop and the shopping mall who are all HG’s family members. he leaves.

Meanwhile, SY talks to KS about business things but she brings up that JA went on a business trip.

Across town JA’s mother talks to the woman that had on the visor earlier. the woman says she saw JA leaving with a handsome young man, was it her boyfriend. The mother says that it was a business trip, maybe he is the owner or executive or something. the friend leaves and the mother looks like she thinks about what the friend said.

At the branch, JA finishes up and CG shows up after a day away. JA says that she doenst’ feel good and can’t eat with them. But CG comes outside and wants to know what she is doing. She can’t just leave, she never did this before. We are just eating and drinking and singing. JA says that she won’t do that anymore, seh is tired of the skin touching nd uncomfortable ness. Bye.

She leaves and peeks around the corner. JH wonders why she is doing that. He starts to peek around the corner too. She sees him and is startled. She tells him to tell her that she did a good job. he puts his arm around her and tells her that she did a good job. they walk off and drink at an outside eating place.

We see them laughing and talking as “Save the last dance for me….” plays.

This scene is long and adorable as they talk abd take selfies together. They look at the selfie photo and laugh some more. And not just little laughs, these are rolling on the floor laughs. then JH gets a little serious as he looks at her having a good time.

Cut to them on the beach. He puts his jacket around her as they walk together. he also takes a lot of photos of her on the beach and then hops back over to her and puts his arm around her again. they continue to walk.

JA – i still can’t believe that we are together like this…honestly, i kind of worry about it…should we really do this
JH – yes we can do it…i told you, we can do it
JA – What if I have this idea that I shouldn’t have held your hand
JH – I will kill you….I will do well so you willnever regret it
JA – can i trust you
JH – you can trust me
JA – otherwise
JH – nothing (Korean joke)….I already regret….why didn’t I confess to you first, I should have held your hand first.
JA – ah, it is cold….
JH – you should have worn a jacket like me
JA – man should take off their coat and give it to the woman
JH – I am also cold though

He laughs and pulls her into his jacket. He asks how she can just come into his jacket like that. She asks if he is mocking that she is small again, this is not her fault. Then he kisses her! She is a little embarrassed so he smiles and hugs her. they kiss again and they continue kissing with the water as a backdrop.

Wow, they rented a very nice place. JA looks around it as JH prepares something for them to eat. She has wine in her hands and continues walking around. A gorgeous song is playing as she continues walking around. She looks at the bed for a moment and then checks something in her pocket. She walks upstairs and looks around. He is still making the food downstairs. Upstairs is a nice studio loft bed. She sets her drink on the dresser and sits on the bed, then seh looks through the shutters.

He is hard at work downstairs and finally finishes. He takes the food to the table and wonders where she is, so he goes to look around for her. The music fades out.

He goes upstairs and finds her asleep on the bed with her wine in her hands. It is very quiet. He sits and carefully removes the wine from her hands. then he takes a sip of it and sets it on the counter next to them. hen he just sits and watches her. He grazes his hands on hers and lays his hand on her hand.

Fade into the next morning with JA looking for a taxi. the taxi shows up and she gets in. it leaves.

Cut to JH who is asleep on the couch with his jacket as his blanket. he wkes up and looks for her, but she isn’t there. he goes upstairs, but she isn’t there wither. he sees a note

Note: good morning, I will call you after work – the woman in the drawing

JH puts his head down in embarrassement that seh saw his drawing. He flops on the bed and burries his head in the pillow.

BRANCH IN SEOUL
BR is working at a branch in Seoul. She is talking to JM. It looks like this man is telling him that CG was super angry that JA didn’t go drinking and singing with them.

back at JA’s house, her mother asks who she went to work with. JA says it was nothing. The mother says that the friend saw her driving with a young and handsome guy, you should take care of your body. JA wonders why seh makes her into a strange person (like maye she is loose). the mother says that they will hve a huge family dinner with SH, KS, and JH. then they start to talk about living well. the mother says JH and KS are all by themselves, no one will welcome them if they get married, the world is not that easy. JA says that mother shouldn’ talk about GM at all infront of them. Understand! But the mom just leaves, tsking.

Meanwhile JH talks to someone. He says that he heard it from noona, what are you worried about? he says that they can just solve it when it happens….mistake…it’s not a mistake. (we don’t know who he is talking to).

JH goes to teh building with his sister and JH knows the password. KS says that he shouldnt’ look at others put in their password. Cut to inside. JH and KS call JA’s parents mother and father also. they drink and eat.

JH meets with JA in the kitchen and tells her not to be so tense. Just smile, she is good at that since she is pretty.

Cut back to the table with everyone eating and now drunk talking. KS talks about their father abandoning them and how much she suffered. JH wants her to stop talking about it, but she continues. Dad tells KS to stop talking about that, they have family there. they always looked as you two as their kids.

JA keeps drinking and SH tells her to stop drinking. You two are too old to drink like that. But the two friends just keep drinking. KS says that a lot of people wanted to date JA when she was younger. Then KS drunkenly brings up GM and JA yells, Yay! JH tells her to stop talking about that.

Umma uses this as her moment to start talking about GM and getting back with him. An argument ensues about that. JH tries to stay out of it. Appa says that you have to have a good personality. I only see good men, I dont care about the background. KS drunkenly says, I agree. JH smiles.

Outside, Sh asks him about his 35 year old woman. JH just smiles. He gets a call saying that the driver arrived. JA puts KS in the car and tells JH to make sure she gets back okay.

SH and JA go inside, he wants to know what happened with GM. She should call him first if she has problems. He also tells her not to make a big issue in the family again and walks inside.

JH gets his sister all tucked away in her room.

JA is at home and hears the parents talking about heir genius son.

NEXT DAY?
JA is about to leave work and sneaks out to talk to JH. JH sneaks away to talk to JA (on the phone). She is at her branch. They talk for a long time, but she tells him that she has to go back inside. they wonder what they can do tomorrow. JH says her sister is leaving tomorrow for overnight training, would she like to come to his place? JA is flabbergasted…..what????? She doesnt’ respond.

MORNING
The sister leaves for the coffee shop training.

JA goes to work and looks determined.

She goes to JH’s building and looks at her friends place. then she runs to JH’s place.

The sister gets to the highway and starts driving on.

JH opens the door and says that she came. She tells him that he told her to come by. They go inside and he closes the door.

“Sometimes it’s hard to be a woman….”

Fade Out.

JA: (upstairs watching JH on the street) Oh, he’s really fast.

JH: Noona! Noona. Noona! Oh! (JA bursts out and startles him.) Really. Seriously. Oh, that’s so annoying. Seriously.
JA: It was just a little joke, so why are you so upset?
JH: Who is upset?
JA: You are upset! I won’t give you any coffee.
JH: I’m not drinking it.
JA: Okay then, don’t. Ah! I was going to have lunch tomorrow with Seung Chul-sshi. Did you want to come?
JH: Why with Seung Chul all of a sudden?
JA: So Jung-ie. (me: think this is a woman that JH was interested in the past)
JH: That really wasn’t anything.

JH: Not from the first, but when you were turning around, just coincidentally. Wow, your reversing was a work of art. Did you want to see me so quickly?
JA: Just open the door.
JH: It’s already open.
