To make up for that godawful extra tropy last ten minutes of the last episode (episode 14) of Itaewon Class, the production has called in some big guns and cast Park Bo-gum in the final episode! A little Bogum magic to the rescue shall we say?
It definitely has peaked my interest. I mean, I was going to watch regardless, but let’s be real, the last two episodes of Itaewon Class have been kind of boring. It’s like once they made their millions, the writer forgot how to put together an intriguing plot. Hence about 5 tropes in the last minutes of the last episode.
(Spoilers Ahead)
I mean we had the “realize I actually love her” trope via a “memory montage” trope, the “I love her so I must run to see her” trope, the “evil man kidnaps woman in a hospital” trope, the “car chase scene to get woman” trope, the “truck car of doom” trope, the “push someone out of the way and then stop and get hit by the car” trope, and finally the “think about your sorry revenge life as you lay dying” trope.
(End Spoilers)
That all seriously happened in like the last 10 minutes of the episode, maybe the last five minutes. But it is all erased because Park Bo-gum is about to cameo in the finale, whoo hoo! I forgive you show!
Park Bo-gum has a good relationship with the director which is why he agreed to do the cameo, and has already finished shooting his scene. He is also gearing up for his starring role in his show The Moment (previously called Youth Record) which is about the world of models and will premiere on tvN this year.
See you soon Park Bo-gum! I don’t have my popcorn ready because it was all sold out at the store, but for you I might just brave the pandemic and check again! (Not really, I’m probably going to stay home. Stay safe out there y’all! And help others if you can!)

I’d watch Park Bo Gum read the Korean Dictionary to me. PS: I know only some lose words in Korean

We are the same, lol. I loved him in Encounter. I think the model show he is about to do will fit him nicely.
I think I’d let him have the last roll of toilet paper at the store.

Now that is true love.
I liked ep 14. What drama have you seen that doesn’t use tropes. She is second lead after all. Lastly, I don’t like park bo gum.
Hi L.P, I think she means that there were a lot of tropes in a span of like 5 minutes. Not that dramas don’t use tropes. Of course they like Itaewon Class otherwise they would have dropped it. I’m glad they continued covering it, but I also was dissatisfied with the last two episodes.
I hate the second lead. But park bo gum will be an awesome addition to the drama even if its just a cameo
