Hotel del Luna: Episode 8 Live Recap

I feel a lot of revelations coming! But we are only episode 8 so there shouldn’t be too much revealed yet. Hopefully it will be just enough to whet my appetite for more! Honestly though, it would take a ‘jump the shark’ moment for me not to be excited about the next episode.

Hotel del Luna: Episode 6 Live Recap

Gem, I love your theory about the wedding flashback! The back story of Man-wol is intriguing me to no end. What happened in the past to put her in a hotel for 1000 years? I feel like I need to rewatch the opening of episode 1 to get some hints.

Alright, alright, alright! We are going to try and do the darn thing live! We should be able to get at least a bit of it done before we have to run to a prior engagement we have Saturday mornings. We are shooting to have about 30 minutes recapped and then finish up the rest in the afternoon.

Hotel del Luna: Episode 4 Recap

The episode are getting better! We are definitely two days late on this one, but it is well worth the wait (for me at least). Chan is learning his way around the ghost world will all his best intentions in mind, though realizing that ghosts are mysterious things that he shouldn’t really get involved in. But Chan is a good egg and just has to help when he can, y’all!

Hotel Del Luna: Episode 3 Recap

IU is throwing shade and condemning ghosts to die while taking their money in the process. She is a ball of everyones worst nightmare and I love her for it. Though I am not sure if I root her for it. Her redeeming qualities need a kick start in the rump that will hopefully come in episode 4. But for now, let’s get on to episode 3!

One Spring Night: Episode 11 and 12 Recap

All. Caught.Up! So happy to be caught up with this drama which allows me to relax a bit and enjoy a few of the other dramas we have our eyes on. I am a bit obsessed with Arthdal Chronicles crazy self and need to watch today’s episode like I need to breath. In addition to that, has anyone watched Search: WWW yet? I really want to watch it mostly for its romantic comedy vibes.

One Spring Night: Episode 9 and 10 Recap

Ugh, this show keeps pulling me in to its melodic slow wander through Jungin and Jiho’s lives! I must watch. In fact, even though we have no time to spare, I just wanted to keep watching the next episode after we finished Wednesdays episode. But I also needed to post this and we have things to do today to get ready for. But I was all ready to postpone all that and just get my next hit already. I can’t wait until we watch episodes 11/12 because it looks all kinds of constipated with feelings that want to explode all over the upholstery creating a mess no Dyson can clean up.

One Spring Night Episodes 1-8 Summary

We are currently traveling while trying to watch dramas in our free time and hunting for a good internet signal to recap! June is definitely interesting to say the least. But there are so many good shows coming out this month that we had to try. Well, we were finally able to catch up on One Spring Night up to last week. We still need to watch this weeks worth of episodes, but we are all happy at the last two weeks worth. The great news is that this show is slow going, so it is very easy to give a summary of what has happened, I’ll stick to the main couple.

First Impressions: One Spring Night

We have watched the first two hours of One Spring Night which only brought me joy and had me sucked into the screen because this show is capturing the mood and tone of Something in the Rain in a lovely way. It has the same slow melodic walk through the lives of Yoo Ji-ho and Lee Jung-in as well as the long screen takes, to incorporate us into their lives. So far, everything we see is through the eyes of either Ji-ho or Jung-in. The only other step into a characters life we get is from Jung-in’s father, Seung-han, and sister, Lee So-in. And goodness, her sisters life looks fabulous from the outside, but Lordy Lordy does she need Ayana to come fix her life.

Her Private Life: Episode 16 Live Recap FINAL

We had a lot of new drama make an appearance in the last episode (that was resolved very quickly) and new drama to enter this episode that is typical for kdramas, ala the “I have to go out of town for an extended period of time which means we won’t eeevah be able to see each other again until I return” missing you trope. I am ready for it!

Her Private Life: Episode 15 Live Recap

The deed was done though a bit of a cut away meh after all those glorious kisses they gave us. But at least our couple went to the next stage of courtship and is ready to face the world! Unfortunately, they are about to get their first taste of family drama on the other end as Ryan finds out that Deokmi’s mom is the one that dropped him off at the orphanage and give him that life long hand holding stigma. But you know, no biggie.
