We’ve got some personal bests, ladies and gents! Episode 10 of Law School garnered 5.65% of the nation’s viewership, and 6.54% of Seoul’s. These numbers get even better for episode 11, which drew a 6.24% viewership nationwide and a 6.79% in Seoul. That’s the highest it’s been so far! I’m sure the cast and jTBC execs are thrilled, because these are solid numbers for cable.
It also proves that Law School is something special, because ratings usually go through a lull around the middle of a drama or episodes 10-12. I think it’s because the excitement of the beginning has worn off, but you’re not getting the exciting reveals of the end yet. Law School has managed to do the opposite with ratings that get higher and higher every week. And who can blame people for jumping on the bandwagon? It’s certainly been interesting to see Ye-seul’s case coming together, and narrowing the suspect list for Professor Seo’s murder.
Episode 11 makes me think it was Lee Man-ho under the direction of Assemblyman Ko. I think there’s a way Man-ho can manipulate his ankle monitor, so he can do whatever he wants, but have an alibi. The episode ends with him attacking Ko and saying, “You can’t do this to me”, so maybe episode 12 will confirm that they’re working together?
With that said, I’m glad this drama is getting so much love. It really is clever, so it deserves every bit of the recognition. If you’d like to get in on our discussions, we’re currently reviewing it.
Waah that’s great news! The show and crew deserve it!
