TV Chosun had their script reading for their newest drama, Leverage, that will come out in October. TV Chosun does not produce a lot of shows, but they did make Grand Prince which was pretty watchable, so I want to give another one of their shows a try.

Leverage is a remake of a US TV show that premiered from 2008 – 2012 on TNT. In the US show, a former insurance claims investigator leads a team of former top-criminals who unorthodox cases. The cases they handle are usually of people who will most likely not get justice through the regular, ie legal, channels so the team stages elaborate cons for clients who are victimized by the wealthy or well connected in order for them to get their dues.

So, it seems a lot of Switch: Change the World but tied up with a different bow. I really enjoyed the playfullness of Switch, so I could give this one a chance. The other great news is that TV Chosun often times broadcasts live over the internet worldwide, or at least, they did that for Grand Prince, so they make it easy to watch raw.

Leverage will premier on TV Chosun on October 13th and will air on Sundays at 21:30 KST.
