Im Yoo-na and Jo Jung-suk are riding a wave with the smashing success of their summer blockbuster Exit. They are almost at 10 million ticket sales and is the second highest grossing film of the year (the highest belonging to Chicken Run which we still have to see!).
Exit is one of those fun movies that doesn’t take itself too seriously. It’s tagline is literally to Exit from your mundane life, which they definitely do in the film. Though I think more people would rather not have life and death stakes on the line.
As far as the movie is concerned, I was pretty impressed with Im Yoo-na’s comedic ability. Her cry/not cry was hilarious and her comedic timing was great. Jo Jung-suk is no fresh chicken when it comes to comedies, I actually can’t really look at him without wanting to smile. he just has that look about him, that kind of delightful playful look which is showcased in the High Cut images below.
They both look amazing in this pictorial in a comedic yet hot couple kind of way. Perhaps, with this success, they will be back in Dramaland sometime next year. Though I think they would be best as a brother sister detective duo that have to deal with each others love interests. Dramaland, are you listening?
