Shall we count our lucky stars? Because it seems as if Hyun Bin is not going the Gong Yoo route and will give his fans another project right away instead of disappearing into the ether for three years.
Could it be because this is actually Hyun Bin’s third mega hit that took Korea by storm, so he does not have to relish in it all? Is it as a thank you to his fans? Whatever the case, I say bring on the movies as I really don’t have to see him with another drama because his character of Jung-hyeok left a lasting taste of perfection that everyone should chew on.
His new movie, Negotiation (tentative title and not to be confused with his other movie The Negotiation) is a negotiation crisis set in the middle east. It is about a Korean NIS officer (Hyun Bin) who has to convince a group of insurgents to release Korean soldiers back to Korea.
Possibly not the best movie to make with the current climate of the world, but it could also be really good depending on how it is done. Also, if this means that we just get to listen to Hyung Bin talking for 90 minutes then I consider that a win.
Negotiation will start filming soon in Jordan, so I expect that they plan on having a quick turn around release date as well. Here’s hoping!

can work independently, even without any help from leading lady to be recognized as such!
Just excited to see him on the screen again! His portrayal of the role in CLOY was perfect and it’ll take quite a while to get over and fill that void. It felt like a brilliant culmination of his career to date. Very glad to see he’s now able to continue filming this new film!
