Alright, Ji Chang-wook and Kim Ji-won look amazingly adorable in these still images for City Couples Way of Love: My Lovable Camera Thief. I was already happy to tune in because the writer, Jung Hyun-jung, penned Romance is a Bonus Book, and the director, Park Shin-woo, visually brought to life It’s Okay to Not be Okay, Encounter, and Jealousy Incarnate.
But, the real thing that will put this show in obsessed land or not is whether or not Ji Chang-wook and Kim Ji-won will have amazing chemistry. From these images it looks like they are well on their way! I mean, how adorable is that painting photo? Smiles all around with enough paint to decorate both their faces.
My guess is that these photos are taken in Jeju island when Kim Ji-won’s character pretends to be a person she is not. She basically makes up an identity of being an outgoing interesting person on vacation and meets Ji Chang-wook’s character while on holiday. She falls in love with him of course. The question is whether he will fall in love with her because he is still pinning for an old girlfriend that mysteriously left him years ago.
What I love about these stills is that this couple is clearly falling in love with each other if they aren’t already. But is he falling in love with the real Kim Ji-won (her characer at least) or with the person she has pretended to be? Also, I just want to throw in a twist – coule Kim Ji-won’s character look like Ji Chang-wook’s old love? Is that why he is drawn to her?
I just want to throw that out there y’all, I have no clue whether it is true or not. Though this is one of the shows I am most looking forward to this winter so expect lots more theories to pop up! (Because what are K-dramas without theories?)
