We have the long teaser for Fight for My Way ready to go! With Fight for My Way airing on Monday, we do not have much more of a wait. But even so, we wanted to get this teaser out because we know how it feels to be a fan and not have any subs. We also don’t think the subs will be out for this drama until Tuesday or Wednesday and that is just too long to wait to find out what happens, am I right!
Okay, let’s talk about subs. If you are a subscriber to Viki, the team behind Fight for My Way might start having subs as early as Monday night with completed subs by Tuesday. But that is a very big might. It is difficult because Fight for My Way airs on a Monday and Tuesday and most of the community at Viki probably has a day job. We have subbed at Viki before and let me tell you, that is time-consuming work that is done for the love of it. Viki subbers=love. With that said, the quality of the subs at Viki are really up to the team behind it. Some moderators/teams are excellent; they try to stick together for all their dramas. Others aren’t so good and let a lot of things pass.
If you subscribe to Dramafever, they are usually good at getting the subs out within 24 hours, but I don’t think Dramafever has rights to Fight for My Way right now. Rest assured, they will probably get them soon. Dramafever and Viki battle it out for rights when a drama first airs. But once it has aired, I think they are a bit more relaxed. Just speaking of Dramafever’s subs though, sometimes their subs are rushed, so they might not be as good as the Viki ones (depending on who the Viki translating moderators are). Dramafever’s subs have been getting a lot better recently though. (For instance, Another Oh Hae-youngs subs were much better on Dramafever than on Viki.)
We subscribe to both Viki and Dramafever, so I kind of have a feel for how each side works. I don’t really prefer one over the other per se, but my fangirl community loving self, kind of flocks to Viki more often than Dramafever. Plus, Viki’s site is cuter and I love cute things. Sometimes I prefer Dramafever (or Netflix) because I just want to watch my Drama and feel like I’m having an isolated experience, but sometimes I want to have a community experience, so I go to Viki. It really just depends on my mood.
Happy Drama watching peeps. Check out Viki for subs to Fight for My Way and check out the Fight for My Way‘s Soompi forum for updates! And as always, Dramabeans has recaps!
