The Emmys, the Baeksang Arts Awards, the APAN Star Awards. Every year there are a myriad of award shows that celebrate outstanding achievements in television and film. The winners are usually picked by industry professionals and/or fans.
Over the next few days, the Drama Milk community is going to be voting on various polls, so I thought why not give out our own awards? And that’s how the Milkies were born!
At the end of the year, everyone who visits Drama Milk will get a chance to vote in categories that correspond to the Korean dramas they’ve watched. This year there are four categories:
- Best K-drama Villain (Go ahead and vote if you haven’t already)
- Best Couple (Go ahead and vote if you haven’t already)
- Best Kiss (Coming soon)
- Best Drama (coming soon)
Everyone will have until January 5th, 2021 (11:59 PM) to vote. On January 7th the winning dramas will be announced and each one will get the coveted Golden Milk Carton:
As you vote, think of all the Korean dramas (and snacks) you’ve consumed this past year. Relive the happiness, grief, and laughter they brought you. But most of all…have fun! We made it through 2020, and I have nothing but hope for 2021.
