     It might be the Kakao Talk tone. Kakao Talk is an app that a lot of people use in Korea for group messaging. I think they shorten it to Katalk when talking to each other. The ring sounds like “katalk katalk.”But the show might have altered it a little bit.

     It might be something else though. What time did it appear in the episode? For instance was it like 10:15 into the episode?

     We have been trying to find that one out! It is so hard to hear the lyrics, but we’ll keep trying. This is the scene where PK comes walking around the corner with all those fans and OG is talking to the Winter god, right?

     There is nothing on the DC Inside forums about it either. We think it might be another unreleased OST, but we’ll keep checking. If anyone else has any hints to the lyrics then let us know.

     The last one 01:02:35 is an unreleased OST that might be released on the 27th. People are speculating about that one on the DC forums a lot.

     We are at a loss with the first three. Tried to search DC forms to see if anyone has them, but no one knows. We think it might be unreleased instrumental music for Hwayugi. We will have to wait and see though. But we did find a talented person who plays popular background music on YouTube.

     Here is a person who is really good at playing background instrument music, but they add their own names to the songs because they actually don’t know the names of the songs. Hopefully this helps.

        I think this is the same song that is played in Episode 8 at ~16:34 when OG and SJ argue over the sauce. Since they have played it twice (maybe more), we think it might be an unreleased instrumental soundtrack. Hopefully we find out soon!

      We think this is Hwayugi Instrumental music. Perhaps it will be released soon because they just released OST 8 which was used mostly as instrumental music, but it actually has lyrics to it as well. So far, they have been releasing new OST’s every Friday.

      We couldn’t find this one either Sarah, sorry about that. At first we thought it might be a variation of Sam Jang’s fate. But we don’t think that is it. I think it is an unreleased instrumental that they won’t release. Maybe they will release the other instrumental if they get enough pressure.

      Hi Sam, all the music from Hwayugi’s soundtrack is above in the OST section! i will give this a listen to though. Unfortunately the production did not release all of their background music so it it appeared in other parts of Hwayugi and it is not in the above complete Instrumental OST, then they may not release it.

    Look, I’m a guitar player, I love rock and heavy metal music and korean drama is not my thing really, but I was drinking some mates while my girlfriend was watching Kwawijuyu or whatever, and then I listen to the opening song, that with a very powerfull guitar and some symphonic keyboards and I said “wooaaaaoo I have to steal some from that” but now I’m searching all over the web for the name of that song and can’t find it and it’s getting quite frustrating so PLEASE SOMEBODY CAN GIVE ME THE NAME OF THE FUCKING SONG?

    PS: it’s not the song you mentioned at the bigining. Not the piano song but a different one, a macho song, rock, metal, you get the point.

      Is it the one that plays every time Oh gong is on the screen? The main actor. That song was pretty macho. Check the complete Hwayugi OST with the instrumentals included.

    Episode 20 1:06:17 The background music when Han-Joo tells the Winter General on how Sam Jang gets to meet all the top stars and then PK and Alice come on together. Thank you!!!! I couldn’t find it in the BGM playlist either.
