Anyone else think that Jang Seung Jo who plays SH’s ex-husband looks like Kim Jae Joong? Until today I thought it was Kim Jae Joong.
Also, I find it interesting that Cha Hwa Yeon who plays the ex-mother-in-law is on My Only One, the weekend family drama starring UEE. She plays a rich, meddlesome mother-in-law in both shows, but very different characters.
I recognize the ex husband from his role in Familiar wife. He was great in that.
I don’t understand the ex-husband’s character very much. I thought he was the one who wanted a divorce because he wanted to marry someone else. But looks like he still likes Soo-Hyun and wants to get back with her. I cannot figure out why they divorced.
There was a discussion about the motivation for the divorce in the comments for the episode 6 recap. Personally, I think he used the affair as a way to spare her from his family. Or the other option is he didn’t realize how much he loved her until he lost her. Either way he’s not turning out to be the typical meddling ex-husband.
