Premiering: The Undateables

Premiering Undateables Recap on Drama Milk starring
We decided to recap The Undateables instead of Miss Hammurabi (sorry Miss Hammurabi) mostly because it looks light and fluffy and has nothing to do with the law. So I am digging into this Premiering post to familiarize myself with the drama. View Post

Premiering: About Time

Korean Drama About Time starring Lee Sung-kyung and Lee Sang-yoon
This weeks premieres completely snuck up on me! Today we have two shows premiering, About Time and Miss Hammurabi. About time is a fantasy love story that I have been looking forward to. It is almost fully pre-produced and will air today, May 21. View Post

Premiering: Come and Hug Me

Kdrama Come and Hug Me Premiering Live Recap starring Jang Ki-yong and Jin Ki-joo

Y’all, Come and Hug Me (이리와 안아줘) is just so far into melo left field that it is incomparable. It is like MBC heard all the backlash from The Great Seducer and said, “That wasn’t a makjang! We will show you a real makjang!” And they proceeded to create the craziest sounding love story in the history of deadly crazy love stories. View Post

Finally Poster love for Are You Human, Too?

Poster for the Kdrama Are You Human, Too? starring Seo Kang-joon and Kong Seung-yeon

At this point, it really doesn’t even matter what the Are You Human, Too? (너도 인간이니?) posters look like because the wait for it to air, or even pick a steady time slot to air, has been so looooong. I am happy for any movement whatsoever, so it is good to see a slew of posters released this week for this drama. View Post

Kakao Story

Are y’all as ready for Lawless Lawyer as I am? Because I am ready for my weekends to be alive with drama magic again. Lawless Lawyer might just be that drama to bring a magical spark back to my action drama palate, so I am greatly anticipating the premiere on May 12th. View Post

Script Reading, Good Luck Ceremony, and Scene Photos from Come and Hug Me

Korean drama (Kdrama) Come and Hug Me starring Jang Ki-yong and Jin Ki-joo

Come and Hug Me is about to premier next week. It is hard to believe that we are almost in the middle of May, didn’t May just start like last week? We have a lot of script reading photos and scene photos to post from set. That is basically the only reason for this post, because it is packed with images. (Also, the images double post when you click on them for some reason. I need to figure out what is going on with that.) View Post

Melo to Death Poster for Come and Hug Me

Come and Hug Me poster with all three leads

The Come and Hug Me broken picture frame poster is complete and it is about as melo as you can get. Y’all, this show looks so beautifully depressing, which is good because I might tune out the storyline and just enjoy the cinematography. That is, if the cinematography holds up to the photos. Miss Hammurabi’s Grumpy, Blunt, and Energetic Leads in First Released Poster

Korean Drama Miss Hammurabi Poster

Miss Hammurabi (미스 함무라비) is a law drama that is not about big law cases, it is about tiny law things that can happen to everyone, so more Judge Judy style instead of Law and Order. The writer, Moon Yoo-suk, is a judge that went to Harvard Law School. He wrote the novel Miss Hammurabi and converted it to a drama using the same characters and I’m assuming the same situations. So at least we know that the law aspect of this drama will be on point. View Post

Premiering: Wok of Love (Greasy Melo)

Korean Drama Wok of Love on SBS starring Lee Joon-Ho, Jang Hyuk, and Jung Ryeo-Won

It’s about time for the light romantic comedies without any hints of death or disaster to come around! I miss my rom-coms y’all. Give me all of the awkward feels with none of the real world drama. Thankfully we have several to look forward to with Wok of Love premiering first, the other two are The Undateables and Why Secretary Kim, I love it! It feels like a delightful romantic breeze dancing into this hot melo landscape we are in right now. View Post
