The new year is almost upon us and we have three new romantic Korean dramas to start to get excited about that are premiering in January of 2020! The news is scarce so far, but we were able to find out a little bit on the Korean romances premiering in the New Year.
So far there are three romances premiering: one fantasy romance with The Game Towards Zero, a hospital-romance with Dr. Romantic 2, and a makeup-Idol romance with Touch. Three completely different shows for everyone to sink into. We will continue up date this post as more information becomes available!
ROMANTIC KOREAN DRAMAS PREMIERING IN JANUARY 2020
1. The Game Towards Zero
Starring: Taecyeon, Lee Yeon-hee, Lim Ju-hwan
Instagrams: Taecyeon, Lim Ju-hwan, Lee Yeon-hee, MBC
Airing: Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:00 KST on MBC
Premise: A man who can look into the eyes of any person and see the moment right before they die, teams up with a detective to solve murder mysteries. And of course, they fall in love.
2. Dr. Romantic 2
Starring: Han Suk-kyu, Lee Sung-kyung, Ahn Hyo-seop
Instagrams: Lee Sung-kyung, Ahn Hyu-seop, SBS
Airing: January 6th 2020, Monday & Tuesday 22:00-23:10 on SBS
Premise: Two bright young surgery fellows team up with Dr. Romantic, a weird doctor who does not like to socialize with others, at a shabby clinic in Doldam. The two fellows grow as doctors, and as people, and fall in love.
3. Touch
Starring: Joo Sang-Wook, Kim Bo-Ra
Instagram: Kim Bora, Joo Sang-wook
Airing: January 3, 2020, Fridays and Saturdays at 23:00 on Channel A
Premise: A top makeup artists who gets shunned from the profession and is up to his eyeballs in debt, hires a failed Idol hopeful as his makeup assistant. They work together on their dreams and fall in love in the process.
Are you looking forward to any of these shows premiere dates? Of these three, I am kind of interested in the makeup-Idol drama because it just looks like fun and laughs all around. I would like to see a second season of Vagabond. It is not fair for anyone to end it in a very vague way. Vagabond was excellent developed, what happen to the end?
